SembraMedia / Remote – Research director, Project Oasis
March 2022 - April 2023Led a team of five people and three contractors and oversaw strategy and delivery for the entire programme. My role spanned team management, programme strategy, product design and development, stakeholder engagement, as well as co-authoring a research report. Constructive Journalism Institute in Spain/ Remote —Member of the advisory board
December 2020 - PresentIn this voluntary role, I support and advise the Institute and its founder, Alfredo Casares, on strategy, engaged journalism and constructive journalism practices.

MAY 2018 - JUNE 2021During my time at the EJC, I worked on three programmes: Investigative Journalism for Europe (IJ4EU); European Journalism COVID-19 Support Fund; and the Engaged Journalism Accelerator.
My responsibilities included:
- Fund management(review and shortlisting of proposals, administration of funds, ad-hoc grantee support);
- Programme development for training (in-person and online training events across Europe, ranging from 15 to 150 participants);
- Budget and funds management, ranging from €150,000 to €2 million;
- Stakeholder management –liaising with speakers, mentors and funders, and collaborating with external facilitators for concept creation and delivery of training sessions;
- Monitoring and evaluation of programme milestones and deliverables according to timeline and impact strategy;
- Writing reports, case studies and learning materials for external and internal accountability and impact measurement;
- Designing funding and programme proposals.

May 2015 - April 2018In this role, I planned, researched and produced written content (feature articles, analysis, deep-dives) and podcasts about innovation in journalism and the intersection of media and technology. I also co-organised and ran news:rewired, a digital journalism conference for reporters, editors and communications practitioners taking place 2-3 times a year in London. My responsibilities included defining the agenda and topics, identifying and securing speakers, as well as managing budget and logistics.
